Hey, everyone! I’m Dakota Marlega, a rising senior at Ripon College, double majoring in Communication and Theatre. In my free time, I love acting, jogging, reading, binge-watching TV shows, and eating good ol’ Midwestern comfort food. I’m so excited to meet all of you at Camp Curious, and I just know you’re going to love what we’ve got in store for you!

Hello! My name is Anna Levy and I am a rising junior at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. I am currently majoring in Studio Art and English which encapsulate my greatest passions: drawing and writing. When I’m not brainstorming at my laptop, you can usually find me in my make-shift art studio (aka my bedroom!) working on a new drawing or project. In the future, I hope to become an art or creative director for a company in the Entertainment Industry.

Hi! My name is Eric Chu and I am a rising junior at the University of Maryland, College Park. I’m majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Technology Entrepreneurship. In my spare time I like to code iPhone applications, play soccer, win a 1v1 in basketball, run on the track, invest in stocks or just hang out with friends and family. In my last internship, I helped develop, coordinate and run a university held summer camp where students learned engineering concepts and ideas through building a SeaPerch. I know Camp Curious will be awesome, and I hope to see you soon!

Hi, I’m Carter! I am a rising senior at USC majoring in Mathematical Economics and minoring in Product Design. While I have many interests, I am excited by data, developmental economics, and human-centered design. In my free time I enjoy getting outdoors, playing board games, and traveling to new places. I am super excited about Camp Curious and look forward to meeting everyone this summer!

Hey campers! My name is Aliza and I am a rising junior at the University of Kentucky studying mechanical engineering with a minor in mathematics. I have a deep interest in astronomy, aviation and environmental sustainability. In my free time I enjoy backpacking, learning guitar, designing websites, and traveling. For the past five years I have tutored students in math, physics and web courses. I am super excited for the start of Camp Curious and am looking forward to seeing all of your faces!

My name is Hamza Shaheen and currently am a Junior at San Jose State University studying Biomedical Engineering. My goal is to help create and design new medical devices for people. I love to edit videos, getting my hands on the latest technology and the joy of traveling the world while trying out new foods. I look forward to working with you all in Camp Curious and hope you enjoy time with us this summer!

Hi guys! My name is Hugo Enser and I am a Psychology and Media Arts & Culture student at Occidental College, interested in working in the modern entertainment industry. I love to swim, rock climb, bike, and play ultimate frisbee but my guilty pleasures are video games and keyboard customization.

Hi friends! My name is Isa Arocha and I am super excited to be working with you all at Camp Curious this summer. Currently, I am a rising Junior at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY studying Information Science with a focus on UX Design and possibly Data Science. I love finding new ways to use technology to solve problems, just like we are doing with Camp Curious, and that is what brought me to my area of study. Outside of academics I enjoy hiking, movies, reading and just spending time with friends and family. Can’t wait to see what this summer brings!

Hi, I’m Jeremy! I’m a rising junior at UCLA majoring in Biology with a minor in Geography. I enjoy learning about healthcare organization, community building, and environmentalism (or better yet, intersections of all three!). I spend a lot of time dancing (both urban/hip-hop and cultural), seeing the world with my family, and trying new restaurants with friends. I enjoy spreading my love for learning in everything I do, and I’m super excited to be at Camp Curious!

Hi! My name is Jonathan Gottlieb and I am a rising Junior at Grinnell College where I am on the baseball team and studying history and political science. I have always had a passion for education and community involvement - especially with kids. In fact, if this were a regular summer then I would probably be running an in person camp in my local community. But this summer, I have the amazing opportunity to work with campers not only from my hometown, but from across the country! That’s why I’m so excited to work at Camp Curious this summer and I can’t wait to meet all the campers who will be joining me.
